About Seven Kingdoms: Ancient Adversaries
Seven Kingdoms: Ancient Adversaries (aka 7KAA) is an RTS by Enlight Software with many unique mechanics such as skills, loyalties, spies, and villages.
In mid 2009, Trevor Chan (founder of Enlight, designer of 7KAA) released the source code for 7KAA under the GPL-2.0 license.
Jesse Allen (aka the3dfxdude
) has been the person managing the project and contributing most of the code changes and updates and has been around since the initial open-sourcing of the game.
Jeffrey LaCombe (aka jlac1024
) was an early shepherd of the open-source project and was the person to officially announce the open-source release of the gamecode.
