Lincity

Lincity (stylized as LinCity on the game's title screen) is an open source clone of SimCity.

It was originally created in 1995 and only for Linux but has since been ported to many other operating systems.

The game is no longer in active development, with its last real update to the game in 2004.

The source code was forked for the LinCity-NG game which is still under active development and is graphically more similar to SimCity: 3000.

Note: When downloading the source tarball "lincity-1.12.0.tar.gz", if you're unable to extract it, rename it to "lincity-1.12.0.tar" first.
